Working with select industry leaders, the Microtrace taggant technologies may be supplied in a variety of clear security films. The taggant technologies can be extruded directly in the film, coated in the PSA layer or delivered as coded transfer tape for application to films. The films are ideal for security holograms, security labels, shrink bands, identification documents such as passports, identification cards, official documents, consumer packaging and more. The films can be provided in various standards of mil thickness, roll, sheets, pockets, etc.

Quick authentication is easily accomplished using a Microtrace handheld audible detector and UV light. Under the UV light the Microtaggant Identification Particles emit an intense fluorescent response. Under magnification with a Hand-held Microscope of 100X power or greater, the code sequence of each particle can be read.
