Microtaggant® Security Ink

Microtrace, in partnership with Flint Group Narrow Web, formerly XSYS Print Solutions an industry leader with over 100 years of experience, now offers a range of unique security ink formulations for print applications. The specialty inks are pre-formulated in UV ink systems with the Microtrace anti counterfeit technology.

Unlike other security inks, Microtaggant Security Ink is:

  • Exclusive and unique to each customer or application
  • Cost effective
  • Highly effective security solution, each encoded particle contains multiple levels of overt and covert security
  • Read and detected with inexpensive devices

Microtaggant Security Ink is press ready and is available to any printer. The inks are available in UV curable formulations for flexographic or screen printing. Test quantities of ink are available.

Custom Microtaggant codes are created for every Microtrace customer, and are unique to each client and each application that requires a code. Whether one or hundreds of unique code sequences are needed, we work to create the best solution for every situation. Each Microtaggant code is certified and registered on our central database and is never produced again for any other entity except to that which it is issued, ensuring positive identification and authentication capabilities.
